From May 9 to 12, the 8th annual GemGeneve2024 jewelry exhibition took place at the Palexpoexhibition centre in Geneva. This international exhibition showcases contemporary designer creations and jewelry by young talents, as well as antique items and precious stones. A respectable delegation of Armenian jewelers was also prominently featured among the participants.
This is one of the main jewelry expositions in Europe, a serious event in the jewelry market, to which access for large jeweler groups is limited in order to provide a platform mainly for independent brands and young talents.
The Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) was represented at the exhibition by a separate stand, VD-09, where the unique creations of five talented Armenian jeweler-designers were exhibited—a worthy continuation of the rich heritage and artistic imagination of Armenian jewelry art.
The exhibits included a ring by Aytsemnik Avetikyan inspired by the traditions of Armenian ornament, the "Blood Legacy" hand brooch by Louis Balian, the heart-shaped emerald ring by Vahe Zartarian, the “Ste Aigl'Or” jewelry by Vincent Boyajian, as well as the massive “Jewellery Box” necklace by Iren Isahakyan.
The idea behind our winning necklace was that jewellery could be a powerful way to express ourselves. Sometimes a simple necklace can say more than words are ever could, which is why we designed the "Jewellery Box" necklace. It's a statement piece that has all of your most cherished memories - anniversaries, birthdays, special moments - into one beautiful piece. It allows you to wear all your most meaningful jewelry close to your heart, like carrying your entire jewelry box around your neck.
The 4tyseven team hopes that this necklace will become a companion on your adventures, a reminder of your strength and the special moments in your life.
Each necklace is handcrafted with love in our Yerevan studio and is built to last a lifetime.
